Meet Rick

Rick graduated from Utica College with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting. He began his career with the New York State Tax Department as a Field Auditor and was promoted to Senior Accountant at the New York State Department of Labor. With this experience and graduate studies under his belt, he left employment with the state to pursue the goal of becoming a Certified Public Accountant.  He moved to the Glens Falls area where he was employed at a regional accounting firm. After obtaining the necessary public accounting experience, he passed the CPA exam.  Rick was a partner at Delong and Fuller CPA’s PC and Fuller and LaFiura, CPA’s PC before returning to his practice as a sole practitioner.

Community Involvement

Community involvement has always been very important to Rick.  He has served as the treasurer of several area non-profit organizations including The Adirondack Runners, The Glens Falls Community Theater, The Chapman Historical Museum and The Charles R. Wood Theater.  Rick has been a member of the Kiwanis Club of Glens Falls since 1992 and has served as Board Member, Distinguished Past President, Treasurer and Foundation Treasurer. He received the Joseph H. Broderick Memorial Award for Outstanding Service to the Community and the George F. Hixson Fellowship Award.  Along with his wife Anne he founded the Taste of the North Country, the Kiwanis Club’s largest fundraiser.  He has also served as the Chair of the Board of Directors of The Adirondack Regional Chamber of Commerce and  as its treasurer. Rick also served as the Treasurer for the Adirondack Civic Center Coalition, a nonprofit entity, which leases and operates the Cool Insuring Arena and the Adirondack Thunder hockey team.

Rick and his wife Anne reside in downtown Glens Falls and enjoy traveling to Ireland.
